Palmdale Regional Medical Center announced that it has once again earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification.
The Joint Commission reviewer evaluated compliance with related certification standards and evaluated our program’s adherence to best-practice and stroke-related standards and requirements, including Clinical Information Management, Performance Measurements, Program Management, Supporting Self-Management, and the Delivering and Facilitating of Clinical Care. Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts and patients.
